Meet L3-37

Named after a droid activist from Star Ward, L3-37 was made almost entirely out of laser cut and 3D printed parts. The robot was able to stack up to ten blocks, cap, and move the foundations. Despite breaking during the Los Angeles Regionals, the robot carried on to play every match in the finals

Out Reach

We worked with CoachArt, a non profit that works with kids with chronic illnesses and hosted a four week coding club. We hosted a panel with Ecosense lighting about our design process and held design panel reviews with engineers from JPL, UCLA, and USC.

This season we were partnered with FIRST Ladies, which works to empower women in FIRST, and LGBTQ+ of FIRST, which creates a safe space for LGBTQ+ students in robotics. We were also sponsored by Simscale, ABC, Glowforge and Studio Printing. We're super thankful for our amazing sponsors!
